Proposed thesis topic: Occurence and function of River Otter groups, including families (moms, pups, and "helpers") and all adult groups. A variety of behaviors will be described, including group foraging, playing, preening, resting, and contributions to scanning for competitors/predators (vigilance). Began summer 2024.
